Let us entertain you

Wow, have I been busy here on the Pacific Jewel. I have recently gotten myself involved in  the activities brought to you by the Cruise Staff, however I am not going to lie, it has been so much fun.

Last night was full of laughs as we played the ‘Marriage Match Game show’ where a series of questions are asked to 3 married couples, husbands first so the wives have to leave the room and vice versa. The wives then come back in and have to guess the answer their husbands gave. From last night’s answers I am surprised there were no fights on the stage!!

The winners were Laurie and Leon Daams who have been married 22 years! I mean they have been married that long so they should know each other by now!! After the show, I went over to speak to them to ask them a few questions.  My first question was, ‘Which of the questions asked was your favourite to answer?’. Laurie told me hers was, ‘What’s the first thing your other half reaches for in the morning?’. Well you can imagine some of the answers we got…… ! Leon’s was, ‘Who out of your other halves’ family would you least like to be stranded on a desert island with?’. For those of you who know Laurie and Leon Daams, I am sure you know the answer or you should ask them!!

Sara, the Marriage Match game show was a lot of fun to watch. The younger couple we had actually had dinner with a few nights earlier so it was fun to see them in the game show.

I loved all of the shows that were part of the entertainment lineup. My wife would have like some classical components however don’t know how that would suit the general cruising public.

    Looking forward to another cruise.
