A pleasant surprise of the culinary kind

Hello Everyone,

During our last call in Sydney on March 10, the crew from Network 10 and Australia’s Top-rated Reality TV Show, Masterchef, joined the crew of Australia’s latest Superliner, Pacific Jewel, to film an exciting episode from their upcoming season. While the details and results are, of course, very confidential, our passengers were invited to sample the culinary delights of the Red and Blue Teams on the open deck surrounded by the Cityscape of Darling Harbour.

While the teams were busy in the enormous galley of Pacific Jewel, the Masterchef crew were capturing all of the drama throughout the afternoon behind the scenes and, of course, filming our passengers enjoying the party and the food which was then judged in typical Masterchef style, full of suspense. What happened, which Team won, who will go home and what happened along the way? Well, we certainly won’t tell, you have to catch the episode along with all of the others coming your way, this winter. In fact, we’ll have to catch it as well, they wouldn’t even tell us the final results, the Masterchef crew really know how to entertain.

How exciting for everyone, the contestents & judges, tv crew and passengers and staff on Pacific Jewel. I’m sure a good day was had by all, well except for the eliminated person. Masterchef would have enjoyed being aboard for the day I’m sure.
Can’t wait to see that eppisode now.

Just let you all know that the episode will be shown on Channel Ten tonight (June 2) at 7.30pm, with the elimination to be aired tomorrow. There were 13 contestants left when the episode was filmed. One of the 3 judges, Gary Mehigan, was injured several days before, so only George Calombaris and Matt Preston were on the ship. I am a fan of MasterChef and was looking for more info on the episode and the ship when I came across the blog.
