Entertainment Kiwi Style

Hi everyone, my name is Paul Hancox. I have officially taken over the reigns from Josh after our exciting 3 day Food and Wine cruise and our maiden 13 day voyage to New Zealand.

We have presented more excellent entertainment this cruise as always, including New Zealand’s #1 entertainer and Australasia Entertainment Award winner Ash Puriri who wowed the crowds with his huge voice, after giving an amazing ‘Up close and personal’ overview of New Zealand, our ports of call, the Maori history and culture and a few fun showbiz stories.

In addition to all of our Regular Entertainment, we enjoyed fantastic acts every night such as Mike Harris and Darren Sanders, we have presented the hilarious comedy and vocal stylings of Jon Bell, plus the comedy and magic of Phil Cass.

International instrumentalist Ross Maio performed to a wonderful crowd and, as always, Sit Down Comedian Demo Simis proved that the man with the true stories has one for every passenger.

The Passenger talent show and Pacific Pop Star on the last night of the voyage crowned ‘Peter’ the winner, singing Elton John’s ‘Your Song’ to serenade his partner Jenny for Valentine’s day.

Dancing through the Decades party created a real buzz as our guests enjoyed music from the 50’s through to 2010. The Tropical deck party was scheduled as we left Auckland after the ever so popular acrobatic spectacular – Syzygy.

For all the Country music fans the Country and Western Hoe Down was a thigh sapping toe tapping good time with the dance floor alive with line dancing lovers both young and old.

We were also grateful for Captain Paoletti and the team for making all of our Inaugural calls successfully as there were other ships in NZ who were unable due to weather. See you on board soon.

Paul
