Pacific Jewel Cruise Cam is now live!

by P&O Cruises on December 5, 2009 · View Comments

Hi Bloggers!

We’re very excited to finally be able to announce that the Pacific Jewel Cruise Cam is now live on the pocruises.com.au/co.nz websites.

http://www.pocruises.com.au/OurShips/Pages/PacificJewelCam.aspx

Unlike the Pacific Dawn and Pacific Sun Cruise Cams that update every 30 seconds, Pacific Jewel updates every 15 minutes from 6am to 6pm only. We will look into updating this to every 30 seconds for the future.

Enjoy!

Hi Bloggers, Great to see the cruise cam is now working on Pacific Jewel. I ususlly look at all the cruise cams every day. I especially like Pacific Sun because you can see people on the front of the ship and when I went on Pacific Sun I would ring my husband at home and tell him to log on to our computer and he and our children could see me on cruise cam. I would wave to them and they really liked to see me.
Can’t do this with cruise cam on Pacific Dawn or Jewel. But good to see where they are and what the sea conditions are like.

After having just got back from a cruise on the Pacific Jewel I noticed that there are so many cameras on board the ship. It would be nice if the web cam could switch from a few different cameras.

I found the shot that was also sent to the tv network on the ship a bit boring. Even if it could be made to give a rotating view woudl be an improvement. I sure P&O could manage to do something about it.

Btw my wife and I loved the cruise and look forward to another one asap.

Hi to P&O and the web-cam. Did the Islands trip on 7th August, great relaxing holiday. Better than airports I can tell you. So many people check the web-cam it would be great to have it rotate for different views so we can all dream more!!

We have just returned 6th Sept 2010 from having the most fabulous holiday on the Pacific Jewell many thanks to all of the crew for such fantastic service and entertainement. Please say hello and give our email address to Leanne (Portsmouth) and Jenny (Luton) who are two of the Pacfic Entertainers. We have a lovely home in a lovely holiday resort named Terrigal NSW but are finding it difficult to realise that we are not on board the Pacific Jewell Ha Ha!

  • Anthea

it’s great that Pacific Jewel has webcam… but only for the front of the ship?? As my son is on this ship with his cousin and granma now (23/09/2010) it would be nice to see guests and other parts of the ship too… I may of even seen my son…

  • Gayle

It would be good if we could see a bigger scope of the ship

  • Tom

    I just love the webcams
